Lumpy old man 1 : I have to chop some wood before dark.(bearing a porter) Yup...!
Kid 1 : Hey, look at him. the lumpy old man!
"Lumpy lumpy old man, lumpy ugly old man!"
Kid 1, 2 : (going around the old man)
"Lumpy lumpy old man, lumpy ugly old man!"
Lumpy old man 1 : Hey, you little boy!
Kid 1,2 : Let's run away.(disappearing)
Lumpy old man 1 : Look at my ugly face and big lump..
Lumpy ugly old man... well, let's go and get some wood.
(pretending to chop wood)
Oh, no. It's dark.
I should get back to my house quickly.
(strolling about)Oh, my God!
I have lost my way.
It's too dark.
I can't see anything...
Ah! Light!
I'm very lucky to find a house at this time of the night.
Hello-...
Hello...
I wonder if there is anybody home.
Hello-... Is there anybody in there?

Narrator : (wolves' howling and owls') The old man goes into the house quickly.

Lumpy old man 1 : Oh... It looks like a ghost's house.
I'm afraid a little.
Yes! In times like this, it's good to sing a song.
Singing a song always makes me feel good.
"La la la-----(any song but loudly)
Monster 1 : Well, Where is this beautiful sound coming from?
Monster 2 : I think it's from the house.
Monster 3 : Shall we go and see ? (all the monsters go to the house)
Monster 1 : (opening the door) Who are you?
Lumpy old man : Ooops!
Monster 2 : So is it you, the owner of the beautiful voice?
Lumpy old man 1 : Oh... Please don't kill me!
Monster 1 : (pointing to the lump) What's that?
Monster 2 : (grabs the lump) It must be a song-bag where the beautiful voice is.
Monster 1 : What? A song-bag? We could be stars of the monsters world if only we had the bag!
Monster 1,2,3 : (running around the man) Yahoo!
Monster 1 : Hey, lumpy old man, this bag is ours now and this monsters bat is yours instead. O. K.? (detaches the lump from his face)
Lumpy old man 1 : Aah!

Narrator : As soon as the sun rises, he returns to his village. He got rich from the bat of the monster.
Another greedy lumpy old man in the neighbor's village heard the news. He went to the mountain at night to get rich.

Lumpy old man 2 : It's getting darker and darker.
When will the monsters come out?
Right! If I sing, they will come.
(noisy)"La la la---"
Hm, my voice is too soft I think.
Then more loudly.
(more noisy)"LA LA LA LA LA---"
Monster 1 : What is that sound? The old man lied to us.
Monster 2 : You are right. He lied. Let's go and tease him.
Monster 3 : O.K. Let's go!
Lumpy old man 2 : (says to himself) Oops!
No. calm down. calm down.
Welcome! Welcome!
Did you come here to be charmed by my beautiful voice?
My beautiful voice comes from this lump on my face and I would be glad to sell this lump only for one monster's bat.
Don't you want to have it?
Monster 3 : Don't you know that we failed at our concert because of that lump, the song-bag.
Monster 1 : You liar! What did you say? This isn't a song-bag.
Now you can have one more (attaches the lump on the other side of his face)
Lumpy old man 2 : Aak!
Monster1,2,3 : Let's go now (singing like the kids in the town)
"Lumpy lumpy old man, lumpy old man"
Lumpy old man 2 : Oh, my God!
I came to lose my lump, but now I have two.
Oh, my God, What to do, what to do!!

Narrator : The lesson of this story is
" Honesty is the best policy."
